About

About FirstBookClients.

FirstBookClients exists because of a gap the diligence could measure. The skill of bookkeeping is taught free, completely, by large sources — and the business of bookkeeping is sold back to beginners at $797 to $4,997 by course funnels. Between those two shelves, the middle was empty: worked practice with answers you can trust, pricing tools built on published fee bands, a readiness check that tells the truth, and a first-client system priced like paper. This site is that middle.

What lives here

The licensing lines

Bookkeeping is unlicensed work — no state license or credential is required to keep books. Paid tax-return preparation requires an IRS PTIN; this product teaches books and a clean handoff to a CPA, EA, or attorney — never tax filing or tax advice. Payroll-tax deposits and sales-tax filings carry state rules and penalties; we teach the calendar and the books, and filing decisions go to the professional.

How the facts are kept

Every fee band on this site is a published figure, named to its source and stamped October 2026, and re-verified quarterly. Demand context: about 144,100 US bookkeeping openings a year and median clerk pay of $50,670 (BLS, May 2025); about 33 million US small businesses. We never ask you to upload a document, and every tool runs in your browser. FirstBookClients is an educational product of CLEARDEAL LLC. Questions: help@doogex.com.
